CLEAN
The clean is the first part of the second of two lifts contested in weightlifting. The lifter begins with the bar on the ground, and in a one motion, lifts it to the shoulders and stand up. Like the snatch, the clean demands high levels of technical skill, strength, speed, and coordination, making it a fundamental component of Olympic weightlifting training.
